Refunds & Cancellation Policy

When you can cancel, what happens to money you have already paid, and how to get a refund when one is due.

Last updated: 25 July 2026

1. Service delivery

Scoutlight is a digital service delivered entirely online. There is nothing to ship. Access is activated immediately once a payment succeeds — usually within a few seconds, and in any case within one hour. If your plan has not activated within an hour of a successful payment, email contact@avryxa.com and we will fix it or refund the charge in full.

2. Cancelling a subscription

  • You can cancel at any time — there is no minimum contract period and no cancellation fee.
  • To cancel, email contact@avryxa.com from the address registered on the account. We confirm cancellation in writing within one business day.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. You keep full access until then, and you are not charged again.
  • Cancelling stops future renewals. It is not, by itself, a request for a refund of the current period — see below.

3. Refunds on subscriptions

Subscription fees pay for a period of access, and that access is available to you for the whole period. As a general rule we do not refund a billing period that has already begun, and we do not refund partial months.

We will, however, refund in these situations:

  • You were charged after cancelling, or charged more than once for the same period.
  • A technical fault on our side prevented you from using the service for a substantial part of the billing period, and we could not resolve it.
  • You were charged without authorisation — see section 6.
  • You request a refund within 7 days of your first subscription payment and have not made substantial use of your plan allowance. We review these case by case and decide reasonably.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of approval. How quickly it appears on your statement after that is up to your bank or card issuer. Any applicable taxes are refunded in proportion to the refunded amount.

4. Wallet credit

Wallet credit is prepaid balance used for usage beyond your plan allowance. It is consumed as you use the service and does not expire while your account is open.

  • Credit that has already been consumed cannot be refunded.
  • If you close your account, you may request a refund of the unused balance within 12 months of the top-up that created it.
  • Wallet credit has no cash value outside the service, cannot be transferred between accounts, and cannot be exchanged for cash except as described above.

5. Failed and duplicate payments

If a payment is deducted but your plan or wallet is not credited, we refund it in full — no questions asked. This usually resolves automatically once the payment gateway confirms the transaction. If it does not, send us the payment reference and we will trace it.

6. Unauthorised charges and chargebacks

If you believe a charge was not authorised, contact us at contact@avryxa.com before raising a chargeback with your bank. We will investigate and, where the charge was genuinely unauthorised, refund it in full. Raising a chargeback first typically freezes the account while the dispute runs, which helps nobody.

7. Upgrades, downgrades, and price changes

  • Upgrading takes effect immediately, and the new plan's allowance applies from that point.
  • Downgrading takes effect at the start of your next billing period. We do not refund the difference for the current period.
  • If we increase prices, we give 30 days' notice and the new price applies from your next renewal. You may cancel before it takes effect.

8. How to request a refund

Email contact@avryxa.com from the address registered on the account, with:

  • your workspace name;
  • the payment date and amount, and the payment reference if you have it;
  • the reason for the request.

We acknowledge refund requests within one business day and decide within five business days. If we decline, we explain why.

9. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable law. Where those rights give you more than this policy does, they prevail.
